Kayode Balogun, Ph.D. Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Toronto General Research Institute/ University Health Network, University of Toronto. He is a biomedical scientist and biochemist with research experience in the UK, Canada, and Nigeria. He is currently investigating and comparing the effects of HIV antiretroviral drugs and omega-3 during pregnancy on the development and behavioural performance of the offspring. He has worked extensively and published papers and a book chapter on the effects of omega-3 fatty acids on markers of cardiovascular disease, obesity, and neuropsychiatric disorders.
